- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆I moved from out of state to Va and signed up with statefarm because thats who I was insured with previosly. My first experience with statefarm was amazing; the agent remembered my name, took his time to explaine everything to me and work through problems, claims and so on; their rates were the lowest around with the biggest 'bang for your buck'. I should have known better than to expect the same service from different agents even though this was still Statefarm. I did get a decent price for minimum car insurence, but the papers they sent me were for minors (not adults) consent (?), other papers were forgot or not sent untill a month later. The day i signed up, the lady was impatient, and a bit sassy. (if you're trying to win over business, please be kind). My card was also charged but they would not not send me confirmation of coverage until i asked for it. And on top of that, they claimed that my drivers liscence was not valid. I checked and rechecked my drivers liscence and it WAS valid. Small problems.. But enough to equall out to too much hassle and seem very unprofessional.
